The Repairfriendly Vacuumcleaner

Over 50 million tons of e-waste are produced worldwide every year. This amount has increased by 21% within 5 years. To counteract this development, we are designing Eterno4, a repair-friendly vacuum cleaner.

Thanks to its modular design, the vacuum cleaner can be disassembled into all its individual parts with just a screwdriver.

Its translucent plastic cover gives insight into the inner workings, promotes understanding and encourages the user to repair it himself. The signaling on the outside and instructions for use on the inside provide additional support during repair.

Thanks to the modular design, the cable module can be removed with a flick of the wrist and used as an external extension cable.
